BBQ mushroom
and cheese filled tortillas
- Combine thinly sliced button mushrooms,
grated tasty cheese, chopped pancetta and chopped semi-dried
tomatoes. Spoon over flour tortillas and fold tortillas
in half to enclose filling. Spray both sides lightly with
olive oil and barbecue on medium heat until toasted and
filling heated through. Serve topped with a dollop of source
cream.
BBQ brekkie mushrooms - Chop
button mushrooms, lean bacon and green onions. Saute in
a litte butter on hot barbecue plate along side fried eggs.
Serve on warm bagels or croissant for breakfast or brunch.
BBQ Herb and Garlic Mushrooms
- Combine equal quantities
of olive oil and lemon juice in a large bowl. Add a little
dried oregano, crushed garlic and salt and pepper. Add button
mushrooms and toss until well coated. Barbecue on hot plate
until almost tender. Serve with greek lamb kebabs.
There's no
need to wash or peel mushrooms - simply wipe over with a
damp cloth orpaper towel.
